I'm often drawn to think of the earliest stages of life when we were swimming blindly in water. How was it possible to develop that bubble-like appendage to our brains that allowed the great miracle of sight? What a revolution in that infinite cosmos for consciousness to join with sight. (All this taking place among bubbles near a warm shore). Was this event some kind of mandate from the Universe so that it might know itself? Are we tools in that quest? How do these thoughts fit into the parade of ongoing distractions that make up daily life? CARELESS PASSAGE will answer none of these questions. 在数万年前，梦魔(ナイトメア)想统治整个宇宙，於是派出一大堆魔兽到处侵略。有一群爱好自由的人组成银河战士团与知对抗，不过梦魔的魔兽太多，战士们一个一个倒下了，生还的只有铁面骑士(メタナイト)一个，他相信新的星星战士一定会出现，所以一直活着在宇宙中流浪。 　　他知道DEDEDE大王有魔兽下载系统知后，就成为DEDEDE的部下，因为有魔兽的地方星星战士出现的机率较大。果然新的星星战士－－卡比乘着宇宙船飞来了，但是他比预定的觉醒时间早了两百年，所以什麼都不知道，连说话也不会，不过有很强的战斗潜能。铁面骑士要梦梦(フーム)好好照顾卡比让他成长，以便将来跟梦魔对决。

星之卡比（简称卡比，英文叫Kirby；日文星のカービィ ；又称卡比之星、科比）是HAL研究所和任天堂公司合力创造的电子游戏系列。樱井政博(Sakurai Masahiro)刚创造出此角色时它的名称叫Popopo，它在GameBoy游戏“Twinkle Popo”当主角。后来Popopo改名“卡比”，游戏名也改为“星之卡比”。这游戏的定向是“初级者适用”，所以很容易，不太需要动脑筋。第二款游戏，命名为“星之卡比梦之泉的物语”。在这游戏里，正式为卡比添上粉红偏白的颜色，也为以后的星之卡比游戏定了一个基础。本作品亦曾动画化。动画由中部日本放送制作，共100话.。

一颗陨石、奇怪的植被、一种颜色：对 HP Lovecraft 陷入疯狂的实验性诠释，用老式相机在真正独特的 LomoChrome 16 毫米胶片上拍摄。这是一次美妙的超现实练习。
