在广阔无垠的时空中，有无数个尚待我们探索的世界，和等待我们诉说的故事。本季节目要带我们探索逝去和未来的世界。并带观众认识勇于探索这一切的人。

影片讲述了来自公元2932年的少年阿尔科，因误穿姐姐的彩虹太空披风而意外穿越到2075年的过去。在那里，他遇到了同样10岁、充满好奇心的女孩艾丽斯。在艾丽斯的帮助下，阿尔科踏上了寻找方法重返未来的归家之旅。两人的冒险最终揭示了一个动人的时空闭环：阿尔科口中对未来家园的描述，反而启发了艾丽斯成为未来人类云端树屋的真正设计者。这个故事不仅是一场奇幻冒险，也深刻探讨了家庭、友谊与命运相互交织的温暖主题。

以“溯源湖湘”的湘楚历史为角度，选取了六件湖南博物院最具代表性的文物，它们不仅是湘楚历史文化的代表，在中国文博界，也是具备“独一无二”的文物价值，节目团队提托文物为故事基础，构建现代人和历史文化之间的情感链接，力求在古代故事和现代人的共情点上寻求突破，让文物告别高冷，焕发生命和活力，通过六件国宝级的代表性文物和其背后的故事，呈现湘楚历史文化的魅力，真正有效做到“让文物活起来，火起来”。

The IMAX "Cosmic Voyage" film was made as a public service with sponsorship by the Smithsonian Air and Space museum. On DVD, borrowed from my local public library, it plays at just over 30 minutes with Morgan Freeman supplying a pleasing narrative. As one would expect from an IMAX film, the image quality is superb and the Dolby 5.1 sound track is very well done. Simulated cosmic explosions shake your walls! That is, if you have a good powered subwoofer in your system. 　　The film takes a very useful approach to examining the size of the universe, from tiny sub-atomic particles to the vastness of the whole universe. (Fortunately, when God created the Universe he had dispatched a few angels with video cameras at different vantage points so we get to see actual footage from several billion years ago.) The film starts in Venice, where the discovery of the telescope originated, and uses a one-meter hoop as a reference point, then gradually goes larger by powers of 10, e.g. 10 meters, 100, 1000, etc until we can see the whole universe. Then it takes the opposite journey, going smaller by powers of 10 until be see inside sub-atomic particles. 　　The story is well-woven with beautiful effects created especially for this film. It is entertaining and educational at the same time. All of "oldsters" can enjoy it for the scientific history we are already familiar with, and all the "youngsters" can enjoy it for the educational supplement it provides. Overall a masterful film. 　　Any numerical "rating" of "Cosmic Voyage" is meaningless. If one is looking for a superb film about our universe and modern theories of its formation, this one is hard to beat.
