安安跟大多数中学生一样，好动又好奇。他会在同学的怂恿下，跑到风化区去探险。但他被无形的阴影笼罩着，他的父亲死于肝癌，遗传性的肝癌又夺去了妹妹的生命。母亲是他唯一的亲人，但是最了解他的却是他的同学阿丁。阿丁小的时候，母亲就跟别人跑了，他和妹妹成了父亲的出气筒。阿丁在一场为安安打抱不平的争斗中被殴，并为此被学校开除。这时，安安发现自己已患肝癌，而阿丁发现他所暗恋的女友，竟跟她的老板上旅馆开房间。阿丁无法接受这个打击，他在和女友交涉未果后，一怒之下失手打死了他。安安自觉活在世上无多长时间，向警方承认自己是凶手，替阿丁顶了罪。他的母亲为儿子四处奔波，在法庭上为儿子辩护，最后安安还是被判了死刑。他们结局又将如何？
