＜映画概要＞ 　　本作は、2023年6月に乃木坂46を卒業した4期生の北川悠理が現役時代から構想を温め、執筆した初脚本（共同脚本）作品。北川悠理自ら主演を務め、その他のメインキャストとして、グループのセンターもつとめた遠藤さくらや賀喜遥香をはじめ同期の乃木坂46・４期生の11名が出演しております。なお乃木坂46の元メンバーが原作、脚本を担当し、現役メンバーが出演した作品は、乃木坂46史上初となります。 　　＜ストーリー＞ 　　なかなか学校になじめない高校二年生の白木鴇（北川悠理）には好きな小説があった。駅で自作のCDを配っていたツグミ（筒井あやめ）との出会いをきっかけに、鴇が好きだった小説のオフ会にツグミと共に参加することに。小旅行のような形で開催されたオフ会で、紫陽花（遠藤さくら）をはじめとする同年代の仲間と出会い、鴇は自分の本当の気持ちと向き合うことになる。この経験をきっかけに、学校になじめない原因となった朱里（賀喜遥香）との関係が変わっていく。

The pretext of the film, set in Cologne, is Heinrich Böll’s novel “Billiards at Half Past Nine,” which they strip down to a handful of stark events and film with a confrontational angularity akin to Bartók’s music that adorns the soundtrack. The subtlest of cues accompany the story’s complex flashbacks. The middle-aged Robert Fähmel tells a young hotel bellhop of persecutions under the Third Reich; his elderly father, Heinrich, an architect famed for a local abbey, recalls the militarism of the First World War, when his wife, Johanna, incurred trouble for insulting the Kaiser. A third-generation Fähmel is considering architecture, just as the exiled brother of Robert’s late wife, returns, only to be met by their former torturer, now a West German official taking part in a celebratory parade of war veterans. Straub and Huillet make the layers of history live in the present tense, which they judge severely. The tamped-down acting and the spare, tense visual rhetoric suggest a state of moral crisis as well as the response—as much in style as in substance—that it demands.
