Built on Narrow Land is a film that looks at a moment in Cape Cod when the spirit of European modern architecture inspired a group of bohemian designers -- professionals and amateurs both--to build houses that married principles of the Bauhaus to the centuries-old local architecture of seaside New England. 　　But in 1959, with the establishment of the Cape Cod National Seashore the fate of these houses suddenly hung in the balance. The film documents an important period in the history of Modern Architecture through the lens of one of the most beautiful places in the world.

Engineering an Empire is a program on The History Channel that explores the engineering and/or architectural feats that were characteri stic of some of the greatest societies on this planet. It is hosted by Peter Weller, famous for his acting role as RoboCop but also a lecturer at Syracuse University, where he completed his Master's in Roman and Renaissance Art. The executive producer is Delores Gavin. The show started as a documentary about the engineering feats of Ancient Rome and later evolved into a series. 该片以感人的细节和具有代表性的人物故事，串联起中国载人航天30多年跌宕起伏的奋进路程，展现出载人航天的精神内涵、载人航天工程的复杂性和挑战性，以及中国空间站建成的重大意义。空间站建设是新时代民族精神的象征，“载人航天事业的成就，充分展示了伟大的中国道路、中国精神、中国力量，坚定了全国各族人民实现中华民族伟大复兴的中国梦的决心和信心。”在重要的历史时刻，回顾过往，总结来路，不仅振奋精神、庄严献礼，更期许从历史中获取经验和力量，以此启迪未来。

I.M. Pei, one of the world’s most important modern architects, returns to his ancestral home of Suzhou, China, to design a new museum in an ancient neighborhood. Given unique access over 4 years, the filmmakers follow Pei from his first site visit, through demolition and construction, to opening day. "It is," says Pei, "my biggest challenge. It is probably also my last challenge."
