在某个平凡的日子里，女主人有事需要外出，因此将尚在襁褓中的小宝宝托付给妙龄女孩珍妮看管。女孩对女主人的指示一律点头应允，毕恭毕敬。谁知主人刚刚离开，她便一头扎到沙发上煲起了电话粥，对小Baby完全不管不问。就在这时，汤姆和杰瑞这对冤家又展开了叮叮咣咣的追逐战，他们偶然经过婴儿车，结果遭到珍妮不问青红皂白的暴打。刚刚赶走猫和鼠，珍妮继续回到电话旁闲聊。而这时小宝宝已然爬出婴儿车，开始在家中各个危险的角落展开冒险。惊慌失措的汤姆与杰瑞暂时停止战争，想方设法帮助小宝宝躲避危险。 　　在珍妮完全依靠不上的危机时刻，猫和鼠组成了营救保护小宝宝的联盟……

Aston (Robert Shaw), a quiet, reserved man, lives alone in a top-floor cluttered room of a small abandoned house in a poor London district. He befriends and takes in Mac Davies (Donald Pleasence), an old derelict who has been fired from a menial job in a café. In time Aston offers him a job as caretaker of the house. Aston's brother, Mick (Alan Bates) - a taunting, quasi-sadist - harasses the derelict when his brother is away, countermanding his orders. Eventually Aston, himself irritated by the cantankerous old man, puts him out.

Gary's father took off years ago and left him with his absentee stepmom, while Joel's elderly parents remain unseen and uninvolved. And the adults that are actually present in Gary and Joel's lives are anything but role models. At first glance, Gary and Joel's world may be bleak but their worldview is bright as they guide themselves through life with each other to depend on.

我們自身的身份認同建構，有哪些是來自上一代的集體記憶？而我們又會傳給下一個世代什麼樣的集體記憶？12段以身份認同建構為題的行為藝術作品，有如小寫歷史的敘事切片，以電影影像的語言重新結構。如果電影作為檔案，既是幫助人們記憶社會的媒介，也是當代人對於歷史的理解及再現，然而它是一種關於過去的社會記憶，抑或也是一種歷史敘述？
