《睦邻·柬埔寨》由云南广播电视台与柬埔寨国家电视台联合出品，全片共4集，分为《丝路明珠》《生命家园》《生息之地》《一起成长》四个篇章，每集30分钟，分别呈现了柬埔寨的人文风光、生物多样性、传统生活以及现代发展历程。

沉闷的生活、一成不变的风景，对偏远小镇矿场守门人卡拉和他的同事来说，是他们最佳的生活写照，镇日被关在矿场内与世隔绝，生活中的唯一乐趣，就是一只偶尔跑来要食物的流浪狗，以及一名经常从远处走过、看来长的不错的陌生女子。尽管生活如此无趣，他们却总是能找到事让自己乐在其中，日子过的到也挺惬意，直到有一天，卡拉病了，不能外出的他们委托矿工们帮忙带药来，但窗外却开始下起了大雪…本片为伊朗新潮流导演阿密尼的第二部作品，从他自成一格的叙述方式中，爆发出了令人惊讶的有趣效果，能令观众不自觉对片中主角产生共鸣。
