One day, Naoto receives a package. Inside he finds a book, ‘LIVE’. At the same time, he receives an image on mobile phone of his mother being kidnapped and a call from a mysterious man. “If you don’ t want us to inject the killer virus in your mother, find the hints hidden in the novel and head for the goal in the death race!” Naoto starts running to save his mother with the book in his hand.

Mystery writer Sian Anderson leaves her boyfriend John for three weeks of intense writing in the isolated Greek town of Monemvassia. 故事发生在上个世纪三十年代初期，上海滩黑道横行，各种势力都混杂其中。就在此中突然出现了一帮自称守墓人的团体，因为他们守护的国宝被盗，并得知国宝的失窃与天和公司联系，才犯险与天和公司新晋的主事人梁家晋发生了冲突。梁家晋一贯秉承家规，坚信此事与天和公司无关。但想到父亲的意外离世、大哥的神秘失踪，也感觉蹊跷，便答应一同寻找国宝。不出所料，国宝果然在梁家长子梁家邦手中，他本想将国宝卖给日本人好大赚一笔。哪知交易现场却被弟弟、黑帮、守墓人搅了个天翻地覆，自己也命丧当场，死前还亲口吐露了自己杀害了父亲的事实。梁家晋顾不得处理家事，按照掌握的线索的找到了国宝，还设计将欲夺国宝的黑帮一网打尽，国宝物归原主。
