Alberto is a son, father, and grandfather who, upon reaching adulthood, asks questions he was never able to ask his own father and for which he can no longer obtain answers. Along with his brother Fabián and sister Lilián, he embarks on a journey to Poland in search of the hometown of his father, a Jewish immigrant who emigrated as a teenager, escaping the imminent war and leaving part of his family behind.
