十个候选人必须完成任务才能挣钱。然而，其中一个成员是内鬼。内鬼的目标是使任务失败，并保持尽可能低的收入。其他候选人不知道内鬼是谁，需要揭开他们的面纱。在每一集的结尾，候选人都要做一个关于内鬼身份的多项选择题测试。给出最少正确答案的人被“处决”，必须离开。这个过程一直持续到只剩下两个参赛者和内鬼。胜利者是在最后的测试中答案最正确的人，他们得到了在游戏的前几个阶段赚来的所有钱。

At one point, some elements indicates senator Boni as a possible murderer. All the "old guard" within "Il Giornale" drives articles in order to underline responsibilities of senator Boni. It was downloaded from rutracker. I don't know if it was ever released on DVD in Italy, but I certanly failed to find any info on that. "Signore e signori, buonanotte" only saw the light of day in 2009, so I wouldn't be at all surprised if this was forgotten too. Whatever the case may be, I think this is the first time that this movie is available on DVD with proper English subs. Huge thanks go to grom_bg for the original upload and to Bordz1 for the Italian audio synchronization. Both Russian and Italian audio were taken from a TVrip. The quality is excellent. 　　I made the subs from scratch. The subs that can be found on usual sites are not worth mentioning. I thought that I could correct them in no time, but after the 5th line I realized I was wrong. It was very difficult, but I'm pleased with the results and hope you will be too. Enjoy."
