"The film centers on a family. Blaine (Paul Le Mat) lives with his senile father in a tumbledown shack on the edge of a small southwestern town, where Blaine repairs and installs CB radios. When Blaine isn't busy playing CB Vigilante, cutting off the kooks and crazies who misuse the airwaves, he is trying to win back his sweetheart, Pam (Candy Clark), a pretty gym teacher attracted to his staid brother, Dean(Bruce McGill). The development converges in the climax, when the old man, afriad that he's causing his family too much trouble, packs a suitcase and runs off, but loses his wayin a rainstorm. His clique of male friends, who relish making lewd and inappropriate jokes whenever they hang out, begins to beckon David to be more outgoing—while attractive classmate Mica sets her eyes on David and works to win him over. As social commitments start to intrude on his commitment to his unrelenting physical training, a disoriented David begins to pursue other methods to reach and fulfill physical perfection.

Animated in woodcut style, the film tells the story of Daewit who is rescued from his violent father and grows up far away from his family among wolves. He is released into a world in which he grows from a child to a man weary of life. Embarking on a mysterious journey to find his own identity, he encounters great hardship but ultimately finds peace in forgiveness. Daewit is the first animation film of director David Jansen after film school.
