本片的别名并不是《爱云一片》，《爱云一片》是《爱云爱云》的别名，导演并不是戴彭龄，他只是监制，本片实则是青年导演包庆璋导的。剧情有些像《我心深处》，林凤娇在片中饰演小职员费晓霜，与青年设计师秦凯（秦祥林饰）爱的热火朝天，片中有好几处吻戏。不久晓霜怀了秦凯的孩子，但秦凯全然不知，一次出差飞机坠落，秦凯下落不明。这时经理刘明伟（刘长鸣饰）当了晓霜的接盘侠，而且还升级为千斤顶，辛苦等了五年都没有言正名顺的夫妻名义。而在孤岛漂泊多年的秦凯回来，泡上了晓霜的妹妹晓楼（王宝玉饰），并到刘的公司当工程师。后来秦凯得知恬恬（郑玉君饰）是自己的女儿，在婚礼前把新娘晓霜带走。刘深受打击，跳崖自杀，被救了回来，最后晓霜还是拒绝了跟秦凯远走高飞，选择跟刘组建家庭。
