Pelu, a lonely projectionist in a dying cinema, loses his home and secretly moves into the theatre after being demoted. He turns it into a nocturnal refuge, hosting homeless friends and renting it to a camgirl, thereby reclaiming a sense of purpose. When his secret is exposed and the cinema closes down, Pelu defiantly breaks in to reclaim his home.
