戸田が自らオリジナル脚本を執筆した本作は、30歳を超え自分の限界を感じている映画監督・藤井薫を主人公とした物語。ある日、薫は若いときから自分を支えてくれた女優・寧々と飲むことになるが、彼女から結婚することを告げられる。
