作为《这是我的岛》衍生节目，节目以海岛生活指南为主题，展示少年们在海岛中逐渐掌握衣食住行的基本生活要领，从不习水土到得心应手，逐渐在挑战中实现自我成长；从“吃喝拉撒”到建设“我的岛”，少年们在海岛上如何学习和生存，集体生活的背后，遇到过哪些个人难题和困惑，节目中会展现温暖的海岛生存群像以及有趣闲暇的时光切面。

《东北东北》讲述在东北未成年的女孩晓雪白天在服装市场卖衣服，夜晚经常帮老板交际以维护她的人及关系。富有而有心机的伟哥看上了晓雪，晓雪陷入到感情的迷雾中，但她却意外地怀上了伟哥的孩子。伟哥让晓雪的老板劝说晓雪拿掉孩子，但晓雪却觉得自己受到侮辱，为回到原先的生活轨迹，晓雪选择了堕胎…… 　　在《东北东北》里，用二人转的副线与晓雪的感情线相呼应，表现他们不由自主、讨好他人的人生。邹鹏在现场也称自己就像二人转的演员一样，“为观众付出很多。”邹鹏认为，相较故事，把握哈尔滨这个城市的气息更为重要。哈尔滨是邹鹏的家乡，当他自电影学院毕业，想要成为一名导演时，他自然地选择了哈尔滨为拍摄地。 　　该片结尾关注一列开往他方的火车，观众觉得此段落呈现出诗意气质。邹鹏解读称此种设计有两个意思，其一是离开了家乡，其二是指出站的时候有很多选择，最终只能选择属于自己的一条，孤独地向前走。 　　邹鹏的老师电影学院导演系教授王宏卫于现场介绍邹鹏，赞他自拍摄学生作业时直觉与热情就很好，没想到他毕业之后很快就付诸实践，“与中国其他青年导演的作品比较，有新鲜和不太一样的东西”。

《统治》通过无人机航拍、隐蔽摄像机及手持摄像机的镜头，深入探讨人类与动物之间的六大领域：伴侣动物、野生动物、科研、娱乐、服装和食物，对人类统治动物的道德性与正确性提出质疑。 　　该片无疑已经成为2018年最受人瞩目的纪录片之一，其制作团队不仅有《地球公民》导演尚恩·莫森的加 持，解说团队也集结了杰昆·菲尼克斯、鲁妮·玛拉等重量级明星。有观众在看完后，将影片称作“为新一代人而生的《地球公民》”。 　　在导演看来，“统治”意味着一个群体对另一个群体施加控制、权力或权威，统治者相信自己有这样做的权利。而这样一种信念，往往源于一种自我优越感以及“强权即真理”的观念。 　　通过影片，导演对社会上的一些普遍迷思提出挑战，例如“动物低人一等”，“人类有权对动物为所欲为”。另外，导演还简要探讨了人类的自我优越感如何与人类最阴暗的一些意识形态形成互补，观众也将看到种族歧视、性别歧视和物种歧视之间的相似性。 　　导演克里斯·德尔福斯2014年执导的《光明》（Lucent）是《统治》的前作。

日本在东北实行试点移民从1905年开始。持续到1931年九一八事变前。日本最早有组织、有计划的试点移民是所谓的“爱川村”移民。从1913年开始，有着“劝业都督”之称的日本“关东州”都督福岛安正从山口县玖珂郡川下村和爱岩村搜罗移民17户，从新泻县弄来移民1户，共计18户43人移入金县新平在满铁附属地内拨出4400公顷土地租给自由移民耕种，又从满铁的守备退役兵中择人试验。

Omelia Contadina was born out of the concern of JR and film director Alice Rohrwacher for the difficulties encountered by many small farmers and inhabitants of the Alfina plateau, in Italy. 　　Alice Rohrwacher explains the origins of the project: “Last autumn, during a walk on the border between Umbria, Lazio and Tuscany, I told my friend and artist JR of my concerns about the destruction of the agricultural landscape, violated by the intensive monocultures with which major corporations are shaping entire territories. I told him, as the daughter of a beekeeper, of the mass death of insects that such changes bring about, and of the struggles of small farmers as they try to stem the tide of speculations, subsidies and pesticides. At one point, we stopped at a crossroads: on all sides, uninterrupted rows of hazelnut trees filled the landscape as far as the horizon. As we looked upon this, we commented to each other that it looked like a war cemetery. On the way back we decided that since it looked like a cemetery, we had to hold a funeral. But it had to be a funeral full of life, like a hymn of hope dedicated to all those who keep us alive day after day, producing the food we eat. ». 　　Alice Rohrwacher and JR returned to the region in early November 2019 to implement their project. The portraits taken by JR of 2 women and 2 men farmers, standard-bearers of traditional agriculture, were printed on large tarpaulins, which the farmers of the Alfina plateau, as well as the inhabitants of the villages of Castel Giorgio and Onano, carried in a filmed procession to the sound of a traditional local brass band. The portraits were then placed in tombs dug in the fields belonging to the farmers. Eulogies were given and the graves were filled in, marking the end of both the film and the symbolic burial. 　　The short film Omelia Contadina, co-directed with Alice Rohrwacher, premiered at the 77th Venice Film Festival (2020). 　　The project is the subject of an exhibition at Galleria Continua, in San Gimignano, from September 26, 2020 to May 2, 2021.
