David Lamelas’ work withstands no classification. He trained in painting and sculpting, but shortly after, he put the materials aside, embraced conceptual art and wagered for its dematerialization, placing the audience’s experience at the center. “There is a lapse of time that is space,” he states and reveals his synthetized obsessions in this, his first film. An analytical study if the exhibition hall describes light devices or the isolating of sound, depicting the minimal gestures of the workers who talk about their roles and responsibilities. Like an imagined zoom out, it turns into a psycho-geographic exploration of the city of London. 《海边的朝日与骗子们》 是去年福岛中央电视台创立50周年纪念作品，故事围绕着守护电影院，电影文化展开！去年已经播出了电视剧特别版，此次的电影版是讲述电视剧版之前的故事。本片将于今年9月10日在日本上映，福岛县则将在8月27日先行上映。
