In Ayyur, Zineb Wakrim depicts marginalized rural children with tenderness and humanity. This rare hereditary disease makes them hypersensitive to ultraviolet rays and prevents them from being exposed to the sun. The two 14-year-olds, when not covered from head to toe and locked in a spacesuit so they can step out into the light of day, find refuge in art and painting.

讲述了10岁的农村留守女孩沈月月聪明伶俐，但她命运多舛。母亲早逝，瘦弱的父亲因生活所迫在外打工。沈月月只能和体弱多病的奶奶相依为命，并且用她那瘦弱的小身板担负起了照顾腿脚不便的奶奶和全部家务。而在学校里她和自己的支教老师苏敏关系密切，形同姐妹。她也从苏敏老师那里知道了外面世界的不少事情，有了自己的一些小小心愿，她把这些心愿逐一写了下来。有一天沈月月突然晕倒，被苏敏送到城里医院检查后，确诊患有尿毒症中期。于是，苏敏和几位要好的志愿者、以及家境富裕的男友林利平，齐心协力，通过电视台宣传报道，唤起更多人对留守儿童沈月月的帮助，同时还要在网络上进行公益性众筹，以及取得社会慈善机构的援助。而最重要的是，抓紧时间组织，在沈月月生日的这天圆了她的心愿。
