《潮》是由导演于2017年12月至2018年10月在北京一正在拆迁的农村采访拍摄的照片所做成的静帧短片影像。一个生于此的50多岁的北京妇女在拆迁期间仍旧每天回来喂养自己收养的几十只流浪猫，但在拆迁的最后一天，她连一只猫都找不到了，便决定再也不回来了。短片用作者拍摄的大量静态影像，结合采访录音、现场采集的声音及场景音效制作细致地呈现了一个废墟空间。

钱塘江又称“罗刹江”，自古江潮汹涌，沙地人生长于斯，饱经潮灾。试图自杀的青年江平远被潮水带到桃源村，结识了心怀执念的老金，桀骜年迈的福伯，憧憬美好的小妹等。见证了他们为守住仅存的耕地，在历经一次又一次的失败后，仍怀着渺茫的希望筑堤挡潮。屡遭冲毁的堤坝再次被筑起，却遭台风来袭。风雨过后，浑身泥泞的江平远看见了传说中的潮汐之树。影片以诗意的影像美学，构筑了一部江南特色的造地史诗。
