阿纶（柯震东 饰）惨遭雷击身亡后到了阴间，生前记忆全部清零。他面临两个选择：一是投胎转世，却有可能变成蜗牛；二是担任神职，积累阴德后再修得转世为人的正果。阿纶选择成为月老新人，与个性火爆的粉红女Pinky（王净 饰）搭档来到人间执行任务。当阿纶遇见狗狗阿鲁和它的主人小咪（宋芸桦 饰）时，前世记忆复苏，原来小咪是他生前的挚爱。阿纶想帮阳间的小咪找到新姻缘，可绑在小咪手上的红线却都被烧毁，原来有些情感历经万年也不会改变。与此同时，从阴间逃到人间的鬼头成（马志翔 饰）展开血腥复仇，找五百年前背叛并杀害自己的马贼兄弟算账。正当阿纶为小咪绑不上红线而发愁时，鬼头成却将小咪列为下一个要毁灭的目标……
