After finishing work on "Fanny and Alexander", legendary filmmaker Ingmar Bergman decided that it would be his last film. 　　In this conversation with film critic Nils Petter Sundgren, they talk about his decision to quit filmmaking, his working methods, his childhood, his driving forces, literature, and a lifelong journey to the status of an icon. 　　All intercut with glowing examples from his last masterpiece, "Fanny and Alexander".
