有天，电台主播接到一个电话，是美好网络公司职员张慧丽打来的，情绪很激动，想要谋害谁后自杀，主播为了稳住她让她说出自己的故事。半年前，慧丽看到同事郝美美的订婚戒指非常羡慕，慧丽新婚不久却没有婚戒相比之下心里有些不平衡，做了份账目表给经理赵刚签字时觉察出其有些觊觎自己的美色还故意送秋波，其老公吴波在律师事务所任职，因为农村出生，比较节俭，和慧丽商量先攒够房子首付的钱，其实自己已经偷偷去首饰店看过好几次戒指，碍于囊中羞涩一直没舍得买。有天美美上厕所洗手时接电话把戒指落在台面上被慧丽捡到，想着戴一碗第二天才还给美美，结果第二天不小心崴了脚到公司已经中午，整个事情的发展完全超出了她的控制。。

Life is like a movie for Zaida, an aspiring filmmaker navigating Barcelona’s queer dating scene after she’s recently been dumped. Taking place over the course of three weeks, La amiga de mi amiga follows Zaida through a series of fast-paced romantic highs and lows, all while she's trying to finish her script. After meeting Lara – her girlfriend’s new girlfriend – at a party and immediately falling for her, they keep bumping into each other at the cinema; their story reflects the three Eric Rohmer films (A Good Marriage, The Green Ray, and My Girlfriend’s Boyfriend) they watch over the course of the film. 　　In this witty, frankly cinephile comedy, queer spaces are at the forefront as you follow Zaida on her nights out at bars, parties and art shows with her tight-knit community of lesbians. Women are constantly celebrated, through the characters in Zaida's life, in shots of books about female artists on shelves and framed pictures of film stars on the walls. Rohmer's influence on Zaida's life is clearly seen throughout the course of her relationship with Lara; their secret love blossoms as they discuss cinema and their love lives while struggling to create their own art. 原作は山崎豊子の同名小説。大阪船場の足袋問屋の若旦那が女性遍歴を重ね、大阪商人としての土性ッ骨を培って行く姿を描いた作品。
