《梦之祭》是根据万代娱乐公司推出的5次元偶像企划所创作的原创电视动画。2016年3月11日在“Anime Japan2016”宣布动画化，并于2016年10月7日在电视台首播。近日《梦之祭》官方宣布第二季电视动画《梦之祭 R》将在今年10月播出。

在「梦之祭！」中获胜赢得了CD出道权，由天宫奏、及川慎、佐佐木纯哉、片桐伊月、泽村千弦组成的5人组合“DearDream”。 作为备受期待的新人偶像与年轻的实力派组合“ACE”为首的前辈偶像们一同参加了各种偶像活动，因为传说偶像·三神遥人的一句话「光是出道了也不代表成为了偶像」，踏上了探求“真正的偶像为何物”的道路。DearDream的对手，几乎同样完成特例CD出道的KUROFUNE也开始摸索新的偶像之路。

某天，高中2年级学生天宫奏突然被传说中的偶像三神遥人选中。他看到同事务所的偶像们那热切的心意，也不甘落后地沉浸在偶像活动当中。于是，他和神秘的前童星及川慎、比任何人都克己的佐佐木纯哉、外表温柔却隐藏着热情的片桐伊月、天然又具备天才风范的泽村千弦一同，以在“梦之祭！”中出场，并赢得CD出道的机会为目标而奋斗！
