In a small Parisian building, a diverse group of people crosses paths, likes and observes each other, without always seeing each other.

A man tries to capture her by making a film. She travels through different countries and time zones, telling her life and thoughts. But the closer he tries to get to her, the further away he finds her, and he ends up with a film of his “Her” but not her.

《蘭父》，顾名思义，关于“兰花”，关于“父亲”或“父权”。影片主要通过简述十部与符号“兰花”相关的电影作品，重视“兰花”与多个主题间的联系与纠缠：性与情欲，神话与殖民想象，集体历史与个人记忆等。影片以“讲故事”的形式静静地穿梭在真实与谎言间，如同拟态的兰花般尝试捕获相遇者在内心所潜藏的欲望与羁绊。
