大型舞蹈季播节目《新民族舞大会》是中宣部2024年重点文化润疆项目，由中国舞蹈家协会支持、新疆维吾尔自治区党委宣传部主办，新疆广播电视台、新疆舞蹈家协会联 合创制。节目旨在通过“民族＋时尚”的舞蹈方式，从全国各地邀请56位舞者齐聚乌鲁木齐，完成41支舞蹈的训练、演绎，展现中国民族舞多元化的独特魅力，通过民族舞蹈 为纽带，以融合和创新探索，打造更加时尚、多元、具有观赏性的舞蹈作品。

I thought they had endless resources.” 　　Coppola further explains that she planned for “Custom” to be “five ‘Marie Antoinettes,” referring to her 2006 film, which cost $45 million to make. 　　“They didn’t get the character of Undine,” Coppola said of Apple executives, who she described as “mostly dudes.” “She’s so ‘unlikable.’ But so is Tony Soprano! … It was like a relationship that you know you probably should’ve gotten out of a while ago.” 　　Coppola previously told The New York Times that her five-hour adaptation was nixed by Apple because they hated “the idea of an unlikable woman,” adding “it wasn’t their thing […] that’s what I’m saying about who’s in charge.”

A poet Lee Yonghan happens to see a street cat in his neighborhood and gets interested in the cats. Since cats are a territorial animal, he meets them on the street very often. He takes pictures of their daily lives, and keeps their record in the pictures. He also calls the cats ‘Blacat’, ‘Snomeow’ and so on. His record is published as a book titled ““Hello, thanks cats””. I, a TV commercial director bump into his book at local library, and become interested in street cats. In my neighborhood, there are lots of street cats. 　　I take pictures of their daily routines. I name the ones I am familiar with ‘Sleepuss’, ‘Beauttie’, ‘Naughty’, etc. I even feed them with water and catfood; I feel changed. 　　Lee Yonghan takes one of the street cats to his house as he moves to Yangpyeong. And he meets a new cat there. As I take pictures of them, I notice unexpectedly many villagers take care of street cats, and I interview them.

影片關注中國社會從文革時期到今天廣場上舞蹈的變化，追溯當下中國所流行的廣場舞實際來源於文革時期的忠字舞。三個主人公，分別是在文革時期敢於反抗並且到74歲還能倒立的周先生，到老了依然情懷不減，找到50年前文革時期他的初戀女友，並將當年分手時給她畫的畫像交給她；婚姻瀕臨破裂，並且每日照顧105歲的老父親的熊先生，70歲的他，不僅每日去廣場跳“牽手舞”，而且需要不斷更換女舞伴來尋求表面的性刺激以紓解照顧父親的心裏壓力，最後安靜送走父親；紅衛兵團團長63歲的尹女士，從她一開始對文革極左的傾向，到最後潸然淚下，反思悔恨當年的幼稚，並在她不斷地努力下，實現了人生的理想，最後到美國洛杉磯進行舞蹈演出，從而圓了她終身的夢想。他們在文革時期都跳過忠字舞，同時也是廣場舞的親身參與者。而今天他們又在為了實現自己最後的夢想而努力。本片通過廣場舞將他們串聯，將廣場上舞蹈的變化作為中國近50年曆史變革的戲劇縮影。 　　The documentary DANCE ON THE SQUARE tells the story of the 3 heroes who dance on the square from the period Cultural Revolution to today.They are old enough now.
