Vincent, Marie and their son have just moved from Paris into a farm near a small town in the south of France. He is a history and geography teacher, who looks forward to a quieter life, some kind of return to nature. His wife, a renowned international pianist, who retired in spite of her young age, has decided to follow him but almost unwillingly.
