夜知春亮（梶裕贵 配音）只是一介平凡无奇的少年，就读于私立大秋高中的他过着味同嚼蜡的独生生活。某日夜里，春亮发觉厨房里有不同寻常的响动，本以为家里进了小偷的春亮却意外发现了一个没穿衣服的少女。 　　少女名叫菲娅（田村由加莉 配音），是化为人形的诅咒道具，一番波折之后，诅咒对其无效的春亮和菲娅开始了“幸福甜蜜”的同居生活。之后，黑长直萝莉人形原黑绘（小仓唯 配音）、迷迷糊糊的萨文蕾提（井口裕香 配音）、天才美少女童星樱参白穗（斋藤千和 配音）等祸具少女接二连三的出现在了春亮的身边。她们所要面对的，是一心想要找到并将她们破坏殆尽的神秘组织，而普通人春亮亦被卷入其中。

Synopsis 　　Ian is a struggling actor who finds himself in the unconventional role of a professional mourner. As he tours the Northern Irish countryside, his practiced mask of apathy begins to slip amongst the humour and heartache of the local funeral circuit. 　　Director’s statement 　　Three Keenings is centered on the tradition of “keening”, a mostly forgotten form of vocal lament for the dead in Gaelic Celtic culture, where members of the community unrelated to the deceased would gather and create a tangibility to the abstract space often left by grief and express it on behalf of the family. As with many traditions and religious practices, taking a step back and looking at them through a different lens, we see the humour and at times the absurdity amongst the earnestness and ceremony. In my previous work, I have experienced how families deal with illness and death and I have witnessed how tragedy can oftentimes go hand in hand with grim humour and cynicism. I wanted to explore this feeling in making this short film.

Several actors are members of a amateur soccer team. They followed in their preparations for a particular audition and in their personal life. With about 6 actors this delivers a broad picture of Italian life in which the question what it means to be a man is posed in the challenging circumstances of familily life, sex relationships, sport, cross gender roles and mafia.
