Working class, half Greek and half Scottish, he cops his fair share of harassment from the privileged students. Danny yearns to win swimming gold at the 2000 Sydney Olympic Games. He is taken under the wing of highly regarded coach, Frank Torma and develops a friendship/rivalry with teammate Martin Taylor which inspire Danny to become Australia's youngest swimming champion.

A scientist performing illegal stem cell research is trying to find a cure for cancer. After the transfer of shark cells is made into a human test subject, the ill man gets well again and it looks like the treatment was a success. But the experiment goes wrong, and the man transforms into monster: half-shark & half-human. But the scientist knows how to use this to his advantage. He has invited some of his old pals to the island and is hoping to take revenge on them with his new creature. But do they have any tricks up their sleeve?

In a tiny kingdom, a goose herd girl seizes her chance for 'revenge' on royal heiress Elisabeth whose haughty entourage once humiliated the maiden by ordering her to fetch water for a drunk the princess didn't even want. Indeed she is part of the train with magic horse Florian when the princess is sent to her betrothed, king Gustav's studly son Leopold.
