Popistașu topline as Olga, who with her father and her two sisters have been living a carefree life thanks to the fortune of her grandmother, Ileana, a former lawyer. 20世纪90年代，北朝鲜金家第二代领导人掌权。他宣布退出《不扩散核武器条约》后，朝韩关系变得空前紧张。在这种剑拔弩张的局势下，双方互派间谍刺探情报，企图颠覆对方政权。为了破坏朝鲜的核计划，韩国安企部找到陆军上校朴皙映（黄政民 饰），让他抛弃原有身份，寻找机会潜入朝鲜。朴皙映怀着一腔热血退伍，开始赌博饮酒、花天酒地，逐步塑造全新形象。经过数年经营，他成为在北京颇具成就的韩国商人。功夫不负有心人，他最终与朝鲜对外经济委负责人李明云取得联系，双方不断试探，而朝鲜保卫部的郑武泽则想尽办法抓住朴皙映的把柄。在这个动荡的时代，男人们为了各自的信念奋力前行…… 本片根据韩国特工朴采书的事迹改编。

20世纪90年代中期，朝鲜对外宣传已经拥有了核武器，对韩国形成巨大威胁。韩国需要获得朝鲜核开发的情报以加以阻止，于是，代号“黑金星”的特工朴皙映 （ 黄政民 饰）在安企部室长崔学成 （ 赵震雄 饰）指挥下，以商人身份接触跟朝鲜高层领导有联系的官员，抓住朝鲜当时经济困难的弱点，帮助朝鲜对外经济部的处长李明云 （ 李星民 饰）解决“张成勋事件”，获得对方信任，不但潜入朝鲜，更直接面见了朝鲜领袖金正日。以此为节点，安企部策划的广告项目开始推进，一旦成功则韩方可借拍摄广告之机窥探朝方核计划。正当一帆风顺之时，韩国执政党为了阻止宣扬南北和解的金大中当选，竟欲花大价钱求金正日在边境制造紧张气氛。朴皙映由此卷入了权力斗争的风暴中。
