Every single name in the cast (Andrés Soler, Noé Murayama, Anita Blanch, Julio Aldama, Pancho Córdoba, Eric del Castillo, Jorge Martínez de Hoyos, José Gálvez, et.al.) is a big name in Mexican cinema. It is wonderful to see them all together making up a whole town. And then comes the story. Feelings of pain, desperation, disillusion, wrath, revenge, redemption... go like a domino effect through each and every single one of the inhabitants of this town. They all change after this incident, because everybody was either with or against poor Eufemio Zárate (Aldama). Eufemio's kid was sick and he was so desperate, he did something unforgivable. Somehow is caught and to make matters worse a little pig steals the scene with its antics. It is the Priest who have to settle matters down. After that, nobody will look at anybody else with the same eyes. Now they really know what's going on with them. This movie is magic, reflects what each and everyone has inside and how they all react in a stressful situation in a very subtle and definitive way...

A stray dog named "Pearl" (the owner's forgotten childhood nickname) helps the 34-year-old owner step out of her comfort zone and embrace a broader life, only for a custody battle to ensue when the dog's original owner reappears.

这部动画是根据19世纪意大利冒险小说作家Emilio Salgari（1862-1911）的著名作品改编。小说共有3部，分别是《Sandokan: The Tigers of Mompracem》（1896）、《Sandokan: The Pirates of Malaysia》（1900）、《Sandokan: The Two Tigers》（1904）。动画制作于1992年，英文名是The Princess and the Pirate/SandoKan，全部共26集

In this mini-series in six parts from 1976 the Indian actor Kabir Bedi plays the lead role. Carol Andre plays Lady Marianna Guillonk and as Sandokans best friend Yanez de Gomera we see Phillipe Leroy. The noble prince Sandokan is a fighter of the first rank who are cruel to their enemies, but always loyal to his friends.

La Perle (The Pearl), 1929. 35 mm., black and white, 20'. 　　Henri d'Ursel's only film is inspired by surrealism. Its principal protagonist, Georges Hugnet, also wrote the scenario, an adaptation of Feuillade's film serials. 　　Henri d'Ursel was a Belgian film director and writer. He lived in Paris during the 1920s, at the height of the surrealist and avant-garde movements. In 1929 he wrote La Perle, under the pseudonym "Henri d'Arche", based on a story by Georges Hugnet. Returning to Belgium, in 1937 d'Ursel founded Le Prix de l’Image, a precursor to film festivals of experimental cinema. At the outbreak of the second world war, he founded Le Séminaire des Arts, a prestigious Belgian film club, and precursor of the Musée du cinéma de Bruxelles. D'Ursel was a friend of both Charles Dekeukeleire and Henri Storck. He was for 25 years vice-president of the Belgian Royal Film Archive.
