Life is like a movie for Zaida, an aspiring filmmaker navigating Barcelona’s queer dating scene after she’s recently been dumped. 一人の男が双生児の美人女医を調査するうち殺人事件へ巻き込まれていく様子を描く。遠藤周作原作の小説『妖女のごとく』の映画化で、脚本は「「さよなら」の女たち」の大森一樹が執筆。監督は「ロックよ、静かに流れよ」の長崎俊一、撮影は「森の向う側」の安藤庄平がそれぞれ担当。 　　製薬会社を退職したばかりの辰野吾郎は、友人の柳沢から美人の麻酔医・大河内葉子の身辺調査を依頼された。御曹司の柳沢は葉子に一目惚れし、結婚したいと思っていた。病院での葉子の評判はよかったが、ある日辰野は彼女の意外な側面を目撃した。ホストクラブに通い、マンションではホストを麻酔づけにしてSM行為をしているのだ。辰野はさらに葉子の姉で精神科医の宮沢裕子を訪ねたが、葉子と瓜二つで驚かされた。裕子によれば二人は双生児で、妹は二重人格で、分裂時の自覚がないという。そんな時、看護婦、ホストと葉子の犯行と思われる殺人事件が相次いでいた。辰野も葉子を疑いつつ、彼女の魅力に惹かれていった。しかし、裕子の夫・宮沢義助に言わせると裕子こそ二重人格で、葉子はシロだという。彼女に自覚がないのは治療と称して、裕子から催眠術をかけられていたからだった。辰野のガールフレンド・仲田君子が裕子に連れ去られ、彼は葉子と共に屋敷へ乗り込んだ。辰野が傷を負っているうち、葉子が部屋に飛び込み、格闘の末に裕子を刺し殺した。辰野が部屋に入ったときは、息絶えていた。事件は解決したかに見えたが、犬丸刑事ははたして生き残ったのが葉子なのかどうか、疑問を語った。その頃、裕子はアメリカで新しい病院に赴任しようとしていた。
