Charlie Deegan has almost everything he has ever wanted. He has an important law practice, a beautiful secretary as his lover, and the chance to be appointed to the high court. The only thing wrong with this is that his shrewish wife Olivia, whose father made all the wealth and all the power, is living and that greatly upsets Charlie. So when his lover, Laura, suggests that they get rid of Olivia, Charlie thinks, being a lawyer, that he can create a fool-proof plan. In this plan, he must incorporate a woman named Victoria whom he detests, but she can help him get into the court and be part of the plan for Olivia. 十八岁的藤原拓海 （ 周杰伦 饰）每天驾着父亲藤原文太 （ 黄秋生 饰）残旧的汽车送递豆腐，却无意中练得一手出神入化的飘移技术。对汽车毫无兴趣的他被父亲怂恿参加山路赛，以平日送货的旧车越级挑战著名赛车队，赛果似乎早已定断。岂料藤原拓海竟在众人错愕之下胜出，一夜成名，更激发起他遗传的赛车欲，不断面对一连串惊险绝伦的挑战赛！日本秋名山上的清晨，一辆丰田出产的中古车AE86优美地在下坡道飞驰，车内神秘车手的漂移车速使人吃惊。AE86在 藤原豆腐店旁停下，睡眼惺忪的少年藤原拓海回到店里，只见父亲藤原文太醉倒厅中，藤原拓海帮父亲收拾东西，忆起每天清晨代父亲送豆腐到秋名山上的旅店，心情也沉重起来。阿木 （杜汶泽饰）与父亲立花佑一 （ 钟镇涛 饰）开设油站，藤原拓海下课后会来做兼职。中里毅 （ 余文乐 饰）来到油站，挑战阿木的车队，阿木硬着头皮接战。当晚，中里毅在山路上练习时巧遇神秘的AE86，竟被对方轻易击败。中里毅和高桥凉介 （ 陈冠希 饰）向阿木打探AE86的消息，阿木两父子心知该车为藤原文太所有。阿木求藤原文太出战中里毅，藤原文太听到 GTR的厉害，有点心动。高桥凉介和中里毅在豆腐店出现，原来两人查出藤原文太是当年的传奇车神，并向藤原文太下战书。挑战之夜，AE86上山。阿木见来者竟是藤原拓海，吓了一跳！山路上，AE86再战GTR，藤原拓海利用沟渠拐弯技术将之击败。高桥凉介更诧异于藤原拓海的赛车技术全凭感觉，根本毫无认识。阿木及拓海遇上岩城清次 （ 刘畊宏 饰）挑战，藤原拓海虽险胜岩城清次，岂料接着却被清次的好友须藤京一 （ 陈小春 饰）报仇。藤原拓海力战下，AE86超越机件极限，引擎失灵。同时，阿木目睹藤原拓海的女友茂木夏树 （ 铃木杏 饰）与一个男人步出酒店。藤原拓海同时面对信心、友情及爱情的挑战，究竟如何面对？
