The Bible Project is a non-profit animation studio that produces short-form, fully animated videos to make the biblical story accessible to everyone, everywhere. We create 100% free videos, podcasts, and resources that explore the Bible’s unified story. The Bible is a divine-human book that speaks God’s word to his people. We believe it ultimately points us to Jesus, who has the power to change individuals and whole communities when we let the biblical story speak for itself. Sadly, for so many, the Bible is used as a devotional grab bag or an instruction manual that fell out of the sky. Worse, for many more, it is an oppressive book of out-dated rules used to control people. We simply desire to help others understand the scriptures and all their complex themes in a way that is engaging, approachable, and transformative. We are committed followers of Jesus, but are not organizationally a part of any specific Christian denomination or tradition. We hope that people from all backgrounds will find value in this work, regardless of their religious or non-religious convictions.

故事发生在明治四十年（1907 年）在京都伏见居住的百川稻子什么都不擅长，每天都被父亲责骂，对于她来说的救赎就是祈祷神佛，某天一如往常她前往伏见稻荷神社参拜神明，遇到了一位自由奔放的少年坂本喜八，坂本喜八对稻子说不要信这些看不见的东西，从今之后将是电气时代。而此时稻子的 父亲对稻子说了关于结婚的事情，而且是父亲单方面决定的，稻子本来是放弃抵抗认为自己的价值就是如此，但坂本喜八打开了稻子想要离开这个家的心声，带着稻子离开了这个封闭的家。阻止结婚的方法是找出奇书《二十世纪电气目录》，那是喜八童年时代写下的关于电气的预言书，而喜八过去的哥哥清六带走这本书之后下落不明，喜八和稻子为了寻找这本奇书在京都和滋贺等地逃窜，消失的“电气目录”和其背后隐藏的秘密都等待揭开。

This was a little while ago. Kyoto in the early 20th century, having evolved differently from the history we know today. In a world where only steam engines had advanced, the city was shrouded in smoke. A boy who lost his brother, with whom he had dreamed of the "Age of Electricity," and now lives with deep suspicion. A girl who keeps her dreams for the future and her regrets for her deceased mother hidden in her heart, now living a devout life. The boy and girl meet while seeking the secret of the "20th Century Electrical Catalog," which depicted their dreams. Surpass who you are now and break through the dreams you once had! This is the story of regeneration.
