《Broken》由Ringling艺术设计学院在读学生Garrett O’Neal, Gang Maria Yi和Bryan Locantore联合执导制作，并入选Reel East电影节最佳短片动画环节。 　　短片讲述了一个石头人对美丽的布姑娘一见钟情，而邪恶的剪刀人欲毁灭整片森林和依靠森林生存的布姑娘，石头决定不惜一切代价解救布…… 　　短片欲通过童年的游戏表现为爱牺牲的美德，剧情略显俗套，但在短短的四分钟内将戏剧张力和人物矛盾都表现了出来，实属不易。而导演也在制作前下了功夫去研究环境和植物学，场景设计十分贴近现实。 　　短片在距离和空间感上把握的不是很好，让人感觉同样的视觉上距离忽远忽近。剧情上也有一定的疏漏，如石头为何不在一开始便独身对抗剪刀如果见到如此轻易就可悲打到？而布被剪刀砍伤后却没有安排一个特写镜头给石头，对抗时的画面张力和激烈度也不是很够。
