剧改编自同名漫画，讲述了主人公鹰野爪子，无论怎么看都具备中坚王牌的风格，看起来好像超有能力的样子，其实是令人震惊的无能之人。另外，和鹰野爪子同期进公司的鶸田道人其实是有工作能力的，但看起来是工作无能的遗憾上班族。“看起来有能力的女人”和“看起来无能的男人”的最强搭档创造了奇迹的新时代职场故事。

This Canadian comedy, filmed in black and white and color and adapted from Lepage's play The Seven Branches of the River Ota. In October 1970, Montreal actress Sophie (Anne-Marie Cadieux) appears in a Feydeau farce at the Osaka World's Fair. Back in Montreal, her boyfriend Michel (Alexis Martin) watches the October Crisis on TV and sees Canadian Prime Minister Trudeau declare the War Measures Act. The Canadian Army patrols Montreal streets. Sophie learns she's pregnant and phones Michel. However, Michel is immersed in politics, while Sophie rejects the amorous advances of her co-star (Eric Bernier), becomes friendly with a blind translator, and passes an evening with frivolous Canadian embassy official Walter (Richard Frechette) and his wife Patricia (Marie Gignac). Meanwhile, in Montreal, Michael plots terrorist activities.

His name is “Geun-seong” (which means “perseverance” in Korean), but he lacks perseverance in his actions. Working as a medical device sales representative, he has never achieved even an average performance. He has no intention of making an effort and wants to become famous through internet live streaming to make a lot of money, just like everyone else. Also, he is a twisted individual who gets entangled in other people’s affairs. At a longawaited high school reunion, Geun-seong encounters Jong-man, who has become famous as a VJ, and he exposes the school violence he experienced, which gained him instant fame. 　　The movie follows Geun-seong’s journey of descent into wickedness, taking advantage of someone’s weakness. It portrays extreme selfishness in believing there is no problem as long as he can succeed, even if it means trampling over others. This extreme greed is not limited to Geun-seong. As a result of Geun-seong’s actions, including Jong-man’s career being jeopardized, everyone in the film is only concerned about themselves. What is happening to the world? Geun-seong adopts an attitude that he will do anything for fame to earn a large sum of money. The director focuses on Geun-seong’s face in extreme situations, without any sympathy or affection towards him. You might catch a glimpse of your own face there, and sense the tragedy of this era.
