《秦汉英雄传》以秦末汉初波澜壮阔的历史为背景，塑造了张良、刘邦、项羽、秦始皇、李斯、赵高、阎乐等一大批鲜活的历史人物，再现了博浪沙刺秦、沙丘政变、望夷宫之变、鸿门宴、暗渡陈仓等历史事件。真实还原了《史记》中的相关记载。全剧共52集，每集约25分钟，总时长约1300分钟，以二维手绘动画为主、结合三维技术制作。该剧情节符合历史、画质精美优良，是中国动漫中的经典之作。

秦统一中国后，三代相韩的韩国世家子弟张良，为替韩国报仇，准备策划一场刺杀秦始皇的“斩首行动”。但他们的预谋被当局的廷尉府察觉，在张良前往荥阳向韩国王孙和韩国的遗老们汇报行动计划时，他们遭到了廷尉府伏哨的突袭，然而张良却侥幸逃脱。原因是韩王孙一直以卧薪尝胆的越王勾践为榜样，他要与会者每人吃一颗蛇胆，以示光复韩国的决心。身体赢弱的张良吃了性寒的蛇胆后，马上感到肚子不适，在他如厕时，廷尉府的伏哨冲杀进来，他在厕所躲过此劫。 　　张良在功成名就后，前往黄石岗祭拜老师黄石公时，意外遇见曾和他生死与共的西门雁——西门雁是在韩王孙被项羽封为韩王后，想封她为王妃时远走高飞的。两位有情人似乎有许多话要说，又不知从何说起，他们沉默地相视良久，西门雁就微微一笑，飘然而去，让张良心中留下那值得永远回忆的惆怅……
