In Rye, New York, wealthy Walter Craig loves his wife Harriet--and doesn't know that she married him solely for independence, believing that romantic love only complicates marriage. 艺术家陈璇长期关注来自中国传统的山水精神在影像媒介中的表达。《绛河》是其山水影像创作序列中的第四部也是最新的作品作品拍摄于作者之前并未抵达过的祖籍浙江金华，试图以社会学人类学的工作方式介入山水影像创作实践,通过对自身历史的探寻试图将个体叙事、社会进程与具体的地理勾连起来，以带有自身关照的、有温度的方式完成其自身在山水影像创作上的突破。
