Elaine is a young woman who lives in a skyscraper in a megacity. Suffering from depression and anxiety, she hasn't gone out of her room for months. One day, the thundering sound of water falling outside her window wakes her up. Outside her window is a window cleaner with soap in his eye. He needs a tissue to wipe his eye, and Elaine is the only person who can help. But that would require her to open the window and reach out. With a full anxiety flare-up, Elaine retreats behind curtains to shut him out and keep herself "safe." She tries ignoring him, but he doesn't go away.
