The structure that juts out over the upper deck is inscribed with the words ‘Liberté, Égalité, Fraternité’. 　　Med Hondo uses this tracking shot to establish the setting of his feature film West Indies ou les nègres marrons de la liberté (1979), while opening up a much larger space to the imagination at the same time. The ship turns out to be a most versatile stage for a grotesque narrative of colonialism, slavery and the struggle for independence in the French West Indies. Med Hondo explores his many themes in this limited space, whether it be the Middle Passage, marronage, abolition or the history of labour migration to France. The film marries an aesthetics of thrift with the flamboyance of a musical; different time periods glide into one other as elegantly as the geographical points of reference; and only occasionally do the actors’ visible exhalations, an alienation effect created by the cold, remind us that West Indies was not shot on Martinique.

短片全部以火柴制作完成。片头火柴组成的圈内，数字不断进行倒计时，当数字为2的时候，一个包裹着“1”的球撞了过来，仿佛地球初生之际与彗星的相撞，从此这颗新生星球上有了水，水孕育了生命。史前鱼类自由游弋，其中有一部分走上陆地，不断进化成为恐龙。食草和食肉恐龙一度称霸地球，却无法改变自己被毁灭的命运。幸存下来的啮齿类动物继续进化，从类人猿到人类，从野蛮到文明，所一以贯之的是，人类从来没有停止相互伤害杀戮的行为。冷兵器升级为热兵器，乃至毁灭性武器。 　　难不成出生就是为了最后的毁灭……

影片故事背景设定在二战结束后的德国，彼时德国已是一片废墟。一名幸存者无奈之下与一名前纳粹党卫军队长结成联盟，他们怀着复仇的目的，共同踏上寻找纳粹死刑队幸存成员的征程。

《毁灭》讲述二战后，一名前纳粹军官为了赎罪，开始追捕仍然存活于世的敢死队前队员们。据Deadline报道，因《神奇女侠》一炮而红的盖尔·加朵，有望出演一部设置在二战后时期的复仇惊悚片《毁灭》（Ruin，暂译）。影片预计于2018年1月开机，导演是曾执导过《麦克白》《刺客信条》的贾斯汀·库泽尔。如果加朵顺利进入剧组，或将能在《神奇女侠2》开拍前完成该片的拍摄。据说《神奇女侠2》将于2018年夏季开拍 。加朵的新作还有与布莱德利·库珀合作的惊悚片《更深》（Deeper，暂译），该片由凯内尔·穆德卢佐（《白色上帝》）执导，马克斯·兰迪斯（《全能侦探》《恐怖大师》）编剧 。

屠致中医生原是孤儿，由屠霭诚养育成人。致中感恩图报，娶了霭诚的女儿芝珍，生下女儿玛丽。然而夫妻并无感情，致中受尽芝珍闲气，深感委屈。舞女柳莺无意中于街上碰到致中，心生好感，借看病为名故意亲近。多次接触后，致中亦爱上了她，柳莺的女儿小玉患病，致中从柳莺对女儿的关怀之情，发现这风尘女子亦有慈爱的一面，因而想离婚跟柳莺共同生活，然而霭诚不允。致中的一名逃犯病人在诊所死去，致中将自己和他的衣服互换，造成自己汽车意外堕山死亡之假局，然后跟柳莺同居。柳莺在舞厅被客人侮辱，致中挺身维护，争执中遭镪水毁容。警方因他身上一张家庭照而怀疑他杀人，柳莺为他讨还清白，表明他的原来身份。然而霭诚和芝珍郤不想再与这个身败名裂，面容已毁的人相认，而致中也不作自辩，走上自我毁灭之路。
