江宇哲因原生家庭创伤对婚姻极度缺乏安全感，婚后无端猜忌妻子胡薇与同事金龙飞有染。他无视解释，以反锁房门、下药绑缚、换门锁等方式非法拘禁胡薇，持水果刀逼胡薇让金龙飞辞职。金龙飞离职后，胡薇删告别短信又引猜忌。好友劝说无果，胡薇报警被江宇哲以死相逼阻止，提离婚还遭逼做绝育。胡薇曾陪他看心理医生，但他偏执未改。最终胡薇决心逃离，在其哀求中毅然离开，追寻有尊严的生活。
