在湖南岳阳，有一个独立纪录片工作者，他叫毛晨雨。从上海某高校毕业后，他并没有从事自己所学的专业，而是回到家乡的村庄拍摄独立纪录片，集中考察湖南、贵州等稻作区域的的农村政治、经济、文化结构，一直低调地实施着一个周期冗长的跨媒体实验计划——“稻电影”。《拥有》是他近三年来出品的，唯一的一部纪录片新作，试图“解构新中国农民六十年来之生存逻辑，重构农民之主体”。 　　导演简介： 　　现主持第二文本实验室，近年集中在湖南、贵州、湖北等稻作区域开展工作，按他的话说，拍那些种稻子、吃稻子的人的生活，所以他的电影叫做“稻电影”。现拍摄有《灵山》、《阴阳界》、《神衍像》、《秘密人》、《拥有》等作品。2012年始，毛晨雨在湖南洞庭湖畔的故乡细毛家屋场建设稻电影农场，体感自然、躬耕田亩、种植黄金水稻。

影像取材于大众传播媒介中关于老年人亲密关系的个例素材，结合自身对于奶奶这一形象的残像记忆，以片段式的影像结构和对错位细节的“截取”，试图展现老年群体生活中最琐碎最庸常的荒谬时刻。

故事讲述比诺什扮演的法国女作家来到奈良，将与永濑正敏饰演的当地人开始一段跨越文化与语言的故事。
