由有吉弘行主持的日本电视台综艺节目《有吉之壁》的企划“即兴古装剧”确定要拍成电影。“即兴古装剧”是该节目的热门企划，其内容是有吉向化身战国武将的“破墙艺人”们即兴出题。虽然电影的故事内容还未确定，但当天录制时的精彩即兴表演会被选入电影，演员的分配也会依据表演效果来决定。有吉亲自担任导演，佐藤栞里以副导演的身份参与。不过由于有吉日程安排得很满，他只能负责录制日四个场景的拍摄，其余内容包括剧情的发展都将完全由“破墙艺人”自由发挥。有吉对此表示“将超越国宝级水准”。
