The new season will adapt the second part of the literary saga Versos, canciones y trocitos de carne, written by the 2024 Nadal Prize-winning author César Pérez Gellida. 　　Produced by Zebra Producciones (Grupo Izen), the new season will continue the duel between Augusto (Yon González) and Inspector Sancho (Francisco Ortiz), who will try to stop the murderer after he fled with Erika (Olivia Baglivi) from Valladolid. The obsession to stop him will push Sancho to the limit, while Augusto continues with his poetic and deadly work.

In sepia tones, the film moves back and forth among three periods in Robert Tucker's life: he's an old man, near death, in a nursing home at Christmas time; he's in middle age caring for his cheerful but dying mother; he's a lad at Catholic school, practicing his catechism, going to confession for the first time, receiving the Eucharist, surrounded by the singing of a children's choir.
