Nationen malen keine Bilder. Doch können Bilder die Geschichte einer Nation erzählen? Wie spiegelt die Malerei in Deutschland über ein Jahrhundert hinweg die Sehnsucht nach Einheit und einem Kaiserreich wider, das Streben nach Modernität und Macht, die Kriege und Wunden, das Abdriften in Nationalismus und totalitären Wahnsinn in diesem Land in der Mitte Europas? 　　Von Caspar David Friedrich über Anton von Werner und Arnold Böcklin bis hin zu John Heartfield, Otto Dix und Georg Grosz: Die Künstler wirkten, auf je ihre Weise, an der Entstehung einer gemeinsamen Nation und der Entwicklung einer deutschen Identität mit. 　　Rund 200 Werke wurden für die Ausstellung "De l’Allemagne" im Pariser Louvre zusammengestellt. Sie sind ein Schlüssel zum Verständnis der kulturellen, sozialen und politischen Entwicklung Deutschlands im 19. und zu Beginn des 20. Jahrhunderts in Europa.

某天，米奇（沃尔特·迪斯尼 Walt Disney 配音）和伙伴们筹划了一个孤儿慈善晚会，他们邀请城中的孤儿们来到剧场观看演出，小家伙们在演出开始前便大闹会场，把这里弄得乱七八糟，却乐在其中。稍候演出开始，首先上台演出的是唐老鸭（克拉伦斯·纳什 Clarence Nash 配音），他接连唱了两首歌曲，可是没多久便引来阵阵嘘声，唐老鸭气愤不已，最终被小孤儿们赶下台去。下一个上场的是古菲（品托·考维格 Pinto Colvig 配音）等人表演的滑稽剧，他们可笑的表演引来小家伙们阵阵欢呼声。幕间休息，忿忿不平的唐老鸭再次冲上台，结构饱受戏弄。下一个节目，米奇弹琴，克劳拉（弗劳伦斯·吉尔 Florence Gill 配音）演唱。 　　精彩的演出一个接着一个，给孩子们带来无上的欢乐……

The mice orphans arrive at a theater for a free show entitled "Mickey's Big Show: Orphan's Benefit." As they file into the building they are given free lolly pops, ice cream, and balloons by Mickey and Minnie from the box office. 　　Donald Duck begins the show by reciting "Mary Had a Little Lamb", dancing "Sailor's Hornpipe", and reciting "Little Boy Blue." But when he says "come blow your horn," an orphan blows his nose and Donald gets frustrated. Mickey encourages him to continue, but the second time all the orphans blow their noses. Donald's temper flairs and he challenges them to fight, but is forcibly removed from stage. 　　The next performance is Goofy, Horace Horsecollar, and Clarabelle Cow performing an acrobatic dance. 　　After this, Donald returns to have his revenge by reciting "Little Boy Blue" and blowing his own horn before the orphans can respond. While he is laughing, the orphans throw their ice cream at him provoking him further. As Donald challenges them to fight again the orphans punch him with boxing gloves almost knocking him out. Donald is again removed from stage. 　　Mickey then introduces the "Barnyard Nightingale," Clara Cluck, who sings a clucking aria accompanied by Mickey on piano. She is also harassed by the orphans, but seems to be unaware of it. 　　Finally Donald returns to the stage one last time and quickly recites one line – "Little Boy Blue, come blow your horn" – and waits for the orphans to interrupt him. Yet as they seem well-behaved this time, Donald continues the recitation. But when he says "Where is that boy who looks after the sheep?" the orphans answer in unison "Under the haystack fast asleep, you dope." This angers Donald all the more, yet while he challenges the orphans to fight again, they tie bricks and other heavy objects onto their balloons, float them over his head, and pop the balloons with their slingshots unleashing a barrage which culminates in a box of raw eggs. When it's all over Donald finally accepts defeat and exclaims "Aw, nuts!"
