《119请回答》是由国家应急管理部消防救援局与腾讯视频联合出品的24小时全景追踪式消防纪录片，是一部以写实派白描手法展现的现实题材纪录片。影片用近一年的时间在重庆、哈尔滨两地的两个基层消防站，用真实的画面呈现消防员们出警、训练及生活日常，立体生动的还原了一个个有担当、有勇气、更有人情味的消防员形象；用不同的案件故事，展现出有危险、有乐趣、更有超出想象的戏剧化内容，洞察社会百态，体现人间真实。

本剧以消防局的通信指令中心为舞台，描绘了站在用一部电话维系生命的“最前线”的指令调度员们的“现实”。指令调度员们应对紧急通报，发出适当的救护车、消防车出动指令。他们是拥有各种技能的消防、急救专家集团，运用通信技能和医疗知识，为了挽救濒临危机的“生命”，每天倾听“声音”，用“声音”拯救“生命”。

本剧以消防局的通信指令中心为舞台，描绘了用一根电话线连接生命、站在最前线的指令管制员（调度员）的身影。
