山村流传 “狐狸嫁女必死人” 的传说，夜半哭嫁唢呐声骤起，木匠林魁家门口接连出现纸鞋、新娘影子等怪事。孕妇妻子赵桂花梦魇缠身，林老太迷信散播 “狐仙报应”，张婶推波助澜，林家遭全村孤立。林魁不信鬼神，暗中追查，发现线索指向与自家有旧怨的程三。随着妻子出现早产迹象，林魁设局埋伏，当场揭穿程三为报土地纠纷之仇，伪造灵异现象、挑唆村民的阴谋。最终程三落网，桂花平安产子，村民幡然醒悟。

这是一个普通的英国乡村小镇，阳光还没有完全驱赶走夜晚的黑暗，四周围还一片寂静。在一个大户人家的院落里，已经穿戴整齐的老绅士正在给自家的猎犬点名，每条狗都雄赳赳气昂昂，志在必得。当然在他们中间有一个比较奇特的家伙，那就是永远感觉睡不醒的德鲁比。猎人宣布了要一起去猎杀狐狸，谁能够抓到猎物就会得到一大片肉作为奖赏。狗狗们分外高兴，只等主人一声令下便如同离弦之箭一般冲了出去。 　　在森林最中央，经验丰富的狐狸先生正优雅地喝着咖啡。傻乎乎的猎犬们接连进攻，而他总能应对自如，直到德鲁比出现……
