故事讲述一个十几岁的小女孩儿，从小就被母亲关在家里，从未出过门。就连最基础的学习也是在房子里一点点完成。终于有一天，小女孩儿发现了母亲的秘密，…

She struggles to find her footing in the world, moving through the days without any clear motivation or sense of purpose. Audrey forges a correspondence with two male filmmakers —Burak, who lives in Istanbul, and Blake, who lives in Toronto—and entertains their efforts to help her get through this sorrowful and directionless time. 　　A Woman Escapes is a fusion in every sense, combining various shooting formats (16mm, 3D, & 2K), genres (diary film, video correspondence, psychodrama, & essay film), shooting locations (France, Turkey, & Canada), and each director’s distinct creative sensibility. Through its dynamic, hyper-hybridized structure and workflow, the film explores our collective curiosities about isolation, grief, spirituality, contemporary means of communication, and the increasingly variegated nature of the modern world.

SYNOPSIS 　　Discharged philosophy professor Kim Jin-woo is a talented man who is smarter than the people around him. Professor Kim grew up under unfortunate circumstances. Due to the mental pressure and stress from his childhood, he shows signs of schizophrenia. He thinks of himself as a speeding horse on a racetrack. Worried about these symptoms, Jin-woo and his wife, Hi-young, go to a psychologist named Hyun-woo. Hyun-woo does his best as a friend. But he is unable to hide his surprise as Jin-woo's past is revealed. Hyun-woo tells Hee-young of Jin-woo's home. Watching Jin-woo's pain, Hi-young falls into great sadness and finally kills herself.
