大型佛教文化纪录片《灵岩道风》，于2014年4月28日晚22点在中国中央电视台十套《探索发现》正式公映。本片讲述了民国四大高僧之一的印光大师，不畏艰辛复兴千年古寺灵岩山寺，弘扬佛法，慈悲济世的传奇故事。

本剧讲述的是东晋南海郡名医鲍敬启的独身女鲍姑用越秀山脚下的红艾，制成艾绒条，为当地百姓治病，并治好了富家小姐陆蓉的赘疣，不畏权贵，捍卫自己与师兄葛洪的爱情，夫妻患难与共的故事。

何仙姑从小就跟贾公明定了娃娃亲，成为贾公明的妻子是何仙姑最大的心愿，然而，贾公明一心只想考取功名，无心婚事，何仙姑开始了一段漫长的追爱苦旅，最终因为她的善良美德，在铁拐李的点化下，渡过情关，得道成仙！

该剧以民间传说“八仙之何仙姑”为原始背景，讲述了一位出身普通庄户人家的女子，在吕洞宾、铁拐李的挑选和指点下度化成仙的故事。

唐高宗开元年间，何仙姑出生在零陵一户普通的庄户人家，正逢吕洞宾、铁拐李等七仙欲在人间选一位品貌俱佳的女子度化为仙，他们选中了何仙姑。转眼何仙姑长大成人成为乡村郎中，她女扮男装陪师哥成名来京城参加乡试，结识了文武双全的京城美男子李如义。二人经过误会斗气，彼此产生了好感。何仙姑为了给百姓医病，毅然办起了药堂。林尚书和他的爪牙方御医频频刁难何仙姑，并加害李如义，何仙姑凭借才智化险为夷，并捉弄了他们。林尚书欲除掉何仙姑，向皇上建议收何仙姑为皇上的“贴身御医”，被何仙姑识破奸计。何仙姑惩恶扬善的举动博得百姓爱戴并欲回朝廷施展抱负，吕洞宾劝她还是随七仙在民间惩恶扬善,何仙姑听从了建议，随七仙去往蓬莱仙岛。
