叶凡 （ 尹正 饰）和好友 庞博 （ 王栎鑫 饰）等人偶入北斗星域，这里以修炼升级为主，被判定无法修炼的叶凡为活命努力突破，终开修行之路，但庞博阴差阳错下被灵族古灵帝力量操控，自我意识受影响。二人设法摆脱影响，偶遇姬家小姐姬紫月 （ 祝绪丹 饰）。叶凡与姬紫月遇险，滋生好感。同时古灵帝力量变强，抢夺庞博身体主权。姬紫月因家主之争被追杀，叶凡助其夺位，被缉捕。叶凡和庞博为避难前往北域寻升级之法。叶凡习得源天书，庞博昏迷。叶凡经众多困难，终封印古灵帝力量。叶凡修炼遇瓶颈，再探紫山终破诅咒。姬紫月求亲叶凡被拒，叶凡因暗伤命不久矣，坦诚来自地球之事，姬紫月举动令叶凡动容，二人携手。二人为回地球收集帝兵，被反派 李小曼 （ 王萌黎 饰）等人阻止，成为新任灵帝的庞博前来相助。帝兵凑齐，危机再现，叶凡倾力一战，终启航回地球。光芒过后，姬紫月留在了原地 。
