该剧设定在《权力的游戏》故事发生100年前，两个出人意料的英雄徘徊在维斯特洛大陆：年轻天真但勇敢无畏的骑士——“高个”邓肯爵士（彼得·克拉菲 Peter Claffey 饰），和他小小的侍从伊戈（德克斯特·索尔·安塞尔 Dexter Sol Ansell 饰），即后来的伊耿·坦格利安五世。在那个坦格利安的血脉依然坐拥铁王座的年代，人们还保留着关于龙的最后的记忆，对这对奇特而无可比拟的友人来说，前方有伟大的命运、强大的敌人和危难的冒险在等待。

The CINETECA NACIONAL DE CHILE will organise an extensive program within the framework of the Day of the audiovisual heritage. The main event will be the screening of the restored film "El Cuerpo y la Sangre", by Rafael Sanchez (1962), on the evening of 27th October 2006. 　　Rafael Sanchez has been an important figure of the CINETECA NACIONAL. He has been active as film maker, teacher and founder of the Film Institute of the Catholic University of Santiago, in 1955. As a documentarist, he has made more than 30 documentaries between the 50's and the 80's.

“You’re going to be so impressed by Peter Claffey and Dexter Sol Ansell as Dunk and Egg, the two leads, the sort of brotherhood, the paternal nature between Dunk and this young man,” she said. “So much so that we’re already planning on how do we build this for the three seasons in total. We’re not picking it up officially, but it’s looking very good. We’re looking at it as a holistic piece, Seasons 2 and 3, because there’s three novellas.”

George R.R. Martin alludes to Season 2 of ‘A KNIGHT OF THE SEVEN KINGDOMS’ 　　“I hope you will love the show as much as I do. Meanwhile, we’ll be moving on to “The Sworn Sword,” the second tale of Dunk & Egg.”
