作为社会主义国家的古巴，对中国人来说，既熟悉又陌生，除了古巴传统的拉丁音乐之外，那里有没有摇滚？有没有朋克？我们一无所知，直到2015年，我们第一次踏上古巴的土地，在那里接触到了一群朋克音乐人。这部纪录片经过2015年和2018年两次赴古巴，采访和拍摄了当地三个城市的多支朋克乐队，通过他们的生活、排练和演出，展示了古巴朋克作为音乐人同时也作为普通人的生存状况，同时也回溯了古巴朋克发展的历史。
